The house got closed in yesterday and the masonry heater core was installed today. The electrical service inspection was also today so now we wait for NYSEG to run us some wire and finally get some juice.

Hi John, do you mind me asking... how much did you spend for your masonry heater core? I'd love to start building my own, but the prices I've heard of are a bit scary...
